Baron Bartlett is an OC created for

thegames, a Hunger Games based panfandom rpg. He is a Capitol born politician who is a prime example of the type of person who was named by Finnick Odair in Mockingjay.

The Games has a game wide permissions post but given the nature of this character I'm creating this post to help me keep track of what people are comfortable with.

Bartlett is a sexual predator who bids on Victors of the Hunger Games. With the change in the Game rules by the introduction of Tributes from other worlds, Bartlett has taken to sponsoring more than just one Tribute and has become very generous with his power, influence and money.

It is a good idea for you character to win his favor if they want a powerful and wealthy sponsor but it is important that you are aware of what this means (even if your character isn't). Once Baron Bartlett sponsors your character he will feel entitled to bidding on that character--he will feel as if he "owns" them in a sense.

He is a sadist and will happily humiliate and sexually abuse your character. That's what this post is about. I want to be up front that I'm 100% okay with playing out as much or as little as needed. While Bartlett does have sadistic tendencies, he doesn't have to humiliate and harm your character even if he bids on them (outside of paying to have sex with them, of course). If you'd like to have him bid on your character, but are uncomfortable with the idea of anything more than sex, just let me know. If you like the idea of him unleashing his sadism on them, but want to fade to black, that's okay too.

Here's a list of questions that you can answer in your comments here to give me an idea of what you'd like to do:

Would you prefer that I not tag you with Bartlett at all? (If yes, that's totally okay! I also play Cinna (

setfires), and he might be a better idea if you'd like to have CR with me. I will avoid tagging Bartlett into your posts or replying to your comments with him.)
Would you prefer that I not have Bartlett bid on your character, but don't mind if he threads with you while you're in the Capitol? (If yes, that's totally okay too! He will still be a pervy creep, but he won't sponsor/bid on your character.) - PLEAE NOTE characters can only be bid on if they are over the age of 16.
If you would like Bartlett to bid on your character, do you have any limits? Would you prefer that it only be sex, and not sadism or humiliation? Are their fetishes or scenes that you are flat out not comfortable playing? Would you prefer that we only fade to black? (Please be as detailed as possible. Is there something that just makes you way too uncomfortable to play out or even to handwave? Should we only ever ftb? Are you totally open to anything? Let me know!)

If you are okay having Bartlett bid on your character and want to play out a particular scenario, please let me know that too! I am pretty much up for anything and I want you to see Bartlett as a way to play out your own personal CR plots.
